After 'The incident' Marie's brother, August, was left in a precarious state. Due to being within the radius of the explosion and not dying, he's been hit with a 'curse' that has already turned his flesh to stone and is slowly making its way through the body.
A quest system appeared to Marie one night saying that there is a chance that one of the quest rewards might have something that could cure her brother.
From the very start the system seemed quite nice and lively, but the longer she has it and the closer to her goal she gets, the more she realises that no matter how lively, a system is still a robotic entity, right?
