A profound tragedy unfolds within the story of the "wife-chasing crematorium." Qu Moyu embodies my worst fears – power, control, lack of self-awareness, and narrow-mindedness. He displays cruelty and manipulation, yet there's an underlying vulnerability that's hard to believe. From Shen Dai or Qiuqiu's perspective, their encounters with him must have been sheer horror, filled with helplessness, anger, yet inability to confront him adequately. This emotional turmoil, which I've personally experienced, resonates deeply. As I read, I found myself empathizing with Shen Dai, whose resilience and strength stand out amidst Qu Moyu's darkness.

Qu Moyu's statement about not regretting his beta status if it meant protecting his loved ones demonstrates a level of sacrifice that I could only dream of. I often felt burdened by the expectations to be "more understanding" of others' priorities, even at the cost of my own pride. Shen Dai's journey is commendable, and it's uncertain if Qu Moyu's redemption would be accepted. Their future together, fraught with these dark moments, remains a question.

While I've come across similar dark themes and characters, none compare to the depth and impact of this story. The outcome, whether tragic or happy, depends entirely on Shen Dai's choices, as it should, as the one who suffered. Although I might be emotionally biased, the story's personal touch and its ability to reignite my motivation are exceptional. SQC has crafted a masterpiece with this work.

I eagerly anticipate exploring more from this series.

It appears to be written above average, but despite the initial claim of being against it, I didn't anticipate the early chapters. The main character seems to deceive himself, pretending to be dependable and composed around the female lead (ML), but his demeanor changes drastically when it comes to her. I couldn't continue reading after the 14th chapter, as I understand his attraction towards ML due to their shared history - he assisted the MC with a difficult issue three years prior, and ML is both attractive and wealthy. It's understandable that he might have feelings.

However, he's well aware of the circumstances he's in, yet still holds onto faint emotions and the fleeting kindness from ML. They're in a contract-bound relationship with a clearly defined end date. It feels out of character for him to angst over ML's indifference, considering he agreed to the terms that led to this. His longing creates unnecessary heartache. I'd prefer if he remained indifferent at the start, allowing their relationship to unfold naturally. But no, he chooses to pine away, lowering himself and devaluing himself due to the choices he made. It's quite peculiar that he entered into a 'mutually beneficial' arrangement, willingly providing financial support in exchange for ML's protection, without feeling coerced.

I'm a fan of the dog blood genre and the author, but this particular work didn't live up to my expectations. The characters deviated from their original personalities, which was disappointing given the buildup. While the male lead's affection appeared genuine, the transition from his alpha instincts to emotions seemed inconsistent. The secondary relationship felt forced, especially after the events that transpired, and the MC's possessiveness towards the MC was off-putting.

The MC's dedication to his child didn't align with his actions, as contraception was barely mentioned, and it seemed unrealistic. The introduction of the second ML felt rushed and served mainly to complicate the plot, making the MC look less appealing. The treatment of the baby, with its custody issues and the impact of the second ML's pheromones, added unnecessary stress, with side characters almost seeming more despicable.

Compared to the author's other works, this one fell short. The focus on chasing the wife and the heavy emphasis on childcare as a political tool drained the story. There was a lack of genuine sweetness surrounding the child, leaving me questioning the purpose of including them at all.

From a romantic standpoint, I believe the plot would have been more engaging if the MC had chosen an abortion, allowing for deeper emotional growth between the main couple and a less convoluted custody battle. Overall, this book was just mediocre compared to the author's previous works.

This is SQC's initial ABO story, and I found it quite well-written. The plot was captivating, particularly during Shen Dai's struggles when Qu Moyu was being difficult, even leading to the夺取 of Song Juhan's position. The daily updates were thrilling, and I eagerly awaited each chapter. However, towards the end, the pace slowed down, and the narrative flow could have been smoother. It was great that SQC took a break to refine the story later on.

I particularly appreciated how Shen Dai's mother played a crucial role in their relationship development, despite her past trauma within the Qu family. As Qu Moyu began to realign his priorities, he transformed into a loving, loyal dog, making it hard not to adore him before Shen Dai forgave him. The smut scenes, being an ABO story, were enjoyable, with the climax being particularly well-executed.

There were a few aspects I wished were different. The appearance of Shen Dai's colleagues dwindled towards the end, and Bai Xiangwan seemed underutilized. I would have liked to see him play a bigger role. Additionally, I was hoping for cameos from other 188 brothers, such as SQ, Jian Suiying, and Li Shuo, given their business backgrounds. Li Shuo could have been the one to handle Qu Moyu's legal matters, which would have added an interesting twist. Although Yu Fengcheng made an appearance, I would have loved to see his cute companion, Xinyu, too. These are personal preferences, though.

Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed the 11th book, and I'm excited for the additional content. Both characters' happiness resonated with me, and I can't wait for more.

The author clearly plagiarized from the novel "Perfect Match," which not only undermines the integrity and respect I expect from literature but also fails to surpass or even match its original. My rating is solely based on the quality of the writing, and unfortunately, this work lacks substance beyond mere entertainment. While the inclusion of a beloved character pair from a different series was amusing, particularly how Yan Mingxiao's actions exemplified unconditional love for Qu Moyu, overall, the novel falls short.

The review I'm providing is only one star, but I'm giving an extra +1 star for those who might find solace in this – you are a unique group. The usual tropes apply: toxic alpha, sensitive omega, and their dynamic. My poor brain, always drawn to mpreg and omegaverse stories, despite knowing the disappointment that awaits. I've wasted so much energy on this, questioning my decision.

To clarify, if you wonder why I persist despite the toxicity, it's because I was hoping for a tragic ending – a chance to give this book a slightly better rating. Alas, it preyed on my emotions, and it did so successfully. If this had ended tragically, perhaps a genuine two or even three stars would have been possible. But alas, no.

If he had supported the MC's decision to sever his glands, acknowledging that true love transcends the need for a mating mark, I would have been more lenient. However, the ending left me wanting more, as the MC's lingering resentment towards his omega status and desire to摆脱 it felt unresolved.

Throughout the story, the MC repeatedly expressed his intention to remove his glands once his offspring no longer needed his pheromones. His eventual change of heart due to the ML's influence feels like a missed opportunity for a more satisfying resolution. While the novel may appeal to fans of the "dog blood" genre, it didn't quite hit the mark for my personal preferences.
