University student Yang Niannian was so frustrated after losing ten consecutive rounds in Honor of Kings that she blacked out—only to wake up in the 1980s. As soon as she opened her eyes, her biological mother was sobbing and forcing her into marriage.

“Lu Shishen is a soldier with a stable government job. If you marry him, you’ll have a good life. If your sister hadn’t gone to university, this great opportunity wouldn’t have even landed on you!”

She had worked hard to support her sister’s education, yet her sister stole her boyfriend and then forced her to take her place in an unwanted arranged marriage. Seeing through the so-called “motherly love,” Yang Niannian packed her bags and boarded the train to follow her new husband into military life.

Once she arrived, she discovered that her “cheap husband” was no ordinary soldier—and he even had a little bun left behind by a fallen comrade. In the blink of an eye, she became a military wife, doted on like a treasured jewel, flaunting a gold bracelet on one hand and a luxury watch on the other.

When her regretful sister tried to take him back, the cold and indifferent officer husband kicked her out the door.

Everyone said that Lu Shishen was a serious and reserved man, fully devoted to serving his country.

But only Yang Niannian knew—by day, he was disciplined and upright; by night, he was a starving wolf who hadn’t eaten in half a year…

this isn't a deep story. this isn't even really a massive super hit. but. it has a charm. the characters are fun. the scenes are fun. the system is fun. and isn't that all we really ask for in a story? something that is just fun?

Don't read this novel, let alone read the unlocked chapters..Because you will definitely regret it, because MC is 1000% slave of the system. Your brain will be damaged reading this ?????????

i have read about 70 chapters and this is my review, there a while lot more downsides to the story than upsides. The novel has a good story and  a decent MC with decent word building but that's about it. I sincerely hope that this book is a translation because other than that I can't find another good reason for how bad the writing is. From purely a grammatical standpoint this novel feels like it's written by a 4th to 6th grader; words that don't even make sense are used in sentences, phrases that don't go along with the story, and the writing only gets worse as the story progresses. And the story development isn't a whole lot better, characters show little to no improvement over entire lengths of the novel, the author is constantly switching up the classifications of power systems(never explains it either), and for some reason the language of the novel completely changes after chp 73 like there's a while new author writing the story.
