The year is 2032 and to be honest not much has changed. Well, other than the Flare; an unprecedented event which led to individuals across the world developing superpowers. Some capable of levelling cities or destroying armies. Amongst these one person tries to avoid his powers, treating them as a curse for what they stand for and what they can do.
This is his story, how he tries to rise from his personal abyss and overcome his past, but will it be enough, or is he too lost to ever return to the light?
