As I occupied the front row during my father's earnest sermon against sin, I sensed a deep emotional connection to the word itself, evoking a strong reaction within him. His conviction sent shivers down my spine. Growing up as the sole child of a pastor, I was acutely aware of the responsibilities and high standards placed upon me. However, there was one issue that lingered, one challenge that arose when my parents decided to separate me from the opposite sex, sending me away to an all-gender boarding school.
