I have finished reading all the free chapters so far. Although I enjoyed this story, I will not buy any more. The story itself is interesting. I just feel it's a bit slow for my taste. 50 chapters in, and not much has happened that has really gotten my attention. I feel that the 50 chapters could have been smashed together to make longer but fewer chapters. The Mc's character is nice and decisive, Side characters haven't really made much of an impact on me so far, and then again, there isn't that many, lol. Another small issue I had was The Mc's Name and alias. Imo his name and alias are just too different for me to enjoy reading both of them in the same paragraph. (Shi Tian and Nathan)It takes my attention out of the story when I read the names so close together, considering it's supposed to be the same person. I would have been fine with something like Lin Tian, but this is just my personal preference. (Doesn't affect the overall enjoyment much)The main reason I won't be continuing this story, as stated before, is the pacing of the story. The 50 free chapters, imo could have been made into 15-20 chapters, maybe less. I just don't see myself spending coins on a novel where the individual chapters give little content and are dragged out. For Example Say The mc goes into a store to buy an item. The next 2-3 chapters are just him in the store when they could have just been made into 1 long chapter instead of 2-3 short ones. (This is just an example and not a scenario in the novel) That being said, similar occurrences have happened. Overall, the story and idea behind it are good and entertaining, but the cost to content ratio isn't for me. I don't want to spend coins on 2-3 chapters when said chapters could have been made into 1. And I understand some scenarios just take time to flesh out, but a couple of things that have happend so far could have been made into fewer chapters instead of being dragged out over more chapters. I just feel I would rather spend my coins somewhere where I would get more content per chapter I buy. That being said,as I am stopping at chapter 50, the later chapters may be different and if someone else has read further than me and knows if the pacing picks up do let me know and maybe I'll consider spending Coins here.
