Kiwi Araya, a young man running a clinic as a dark healer in pursuit of wealth and knowledge, finds his life turned upside down when war breaks out between the kingdom and the demon nation. Branded a heretic, Kiwi is given an impossible ultimatum by the kingdom’s army:
“Close your clinic and assist in torturing captured demons, or face the inquisition and be burned at the stake.”
