The First Outsider

Tamyra was born with very little magic. Being from a noble family that prided itself in having powerful mages, she was a stain upon her house's honor. Her parents were neglectful and her brother tormented her. In order to get her family to recognize her, she hatches a plan to summon a powerful spirit. However, an incident prompts her to rush it, resulting in the small amount of magical power she had to be permanently taken from her. The summoned spirit is intrigued by her and saves her from dying due to losing her mana. Tamyra is now an oddity in this universe, with powers that have never existed before. The summoned spirit helps Tamyra run away from her family to fully understand her new found powers, and she embarks on a journey that will shake the universe to its core.
