The Clairvoyant

A science fiction adventure story that involves both spaceship battles and occult magic.

Set in the distant future where menkind has colonised dozens of worlds, humanity is still divided. Two large power blocks, Earth Sphere and the Free Planet Alliance have been involved in a hot and cold war for centuries and tension is rising with every passing day. Ray Chelsea seeks to escape from the endless conflict and attempts to join an organisation known as The Last Free Men, who hide in uncharted space. He crosses paths with a mysterious fortune teller, who warns him that no matter how hard he tries, he cannot escape the conflict, for he is part of it, it will chase him to the end of the universe. While Ray initially dismisses the warning, he soon finds that he indeed has no choice but to turn around and face the seemingly impossible struggle imposed on him.
