Quite entertaining, in terms of the sports novels I've read, this ranks near the top even with the quasi MTL nature of the writing (honestly not that bad, but maybe i've read too much MTl). I can't specifically that there are parts were the novel particularly excels, but the everything is quite satisfactory and there are no real problems I have with it, also the main character is not intolerable and actually somewhat acts his age. There is a sprinkle of racism/political agenda, but that was mainly against a hong kong team, so far there hasn't been any international play, so this maybe become more prevalent. I do like that they are other characters around the MC and it's not just him by himself, I hope that the 2 other guys in his team also follow him, at-least to the CBA or maybe national team?Overall, pretty entertaining!
