John Glenn Quagmire, Major General of the Imperial Republic, was tasked with defending the Fortress City of the Vatican. Unfortunately, before reinforcements could arrive, the city had already fallen, taking with it hundreds of thousands of lives, including Quagmire's.
With his last breath and riddled with wounds, he was consumed by anger and regret for failing to save the people. He cursed his faith as he slipped into unconsciousness.
