In a world where omegas like Wren are often seen as mere breeding vessels or sexual slaves, she struggles to come to terms with her predetermined role. Seeking solace in defiance, Wren ventures into the woods, hoping for a taste of freedom despite the Alpha's strict rules. Unbeknownst to her, this daring act catches the attention of Alpha Valen, whose encounter with her sets off a chain of events that will alter their lives forever. Alpha Valen has a specific agenda; he desires Wren solely as a breeder, intending to use her for繁殖后代, without any intention of keeping her afterwards. Yet, fate seems to have a different plan. It becomes apparent that Wren and Alpha Valen's paths are intertwined in unexpected ways, hinting at a deeper connection and destiny that neither of them could have foreseen.

Two words: guilty pleasure. Objectively not a great novel. Your typical cultivation novel, honestly. Author forces the plot so the character's actions sometimes make no sense. MC will randomly become best friends with some strangers, while being distant or borderline antagonistic with others. That being said, still enjoyed the novel and read 496 chapters. The real downer is that the way the author forces the plot, just becomes more obvious the more you read. To the point that it completely ruined my reading experience. (The way he gets his first real "wife" made me stop reading.)

I dont know why you people like this so much. I have read so many fantasy novels like this that it made me very critical about fantasy novels. First of all, the idea of a broke mercenary with complete limbs and a probable average strength being broke is utterly idiotic. I wouldve understood him being broke if he had lost his limbs or anything or if he lost his strength maybe but this? Hayzz. The story is very bland so much so that this is the same pattern on fantasy novels before with no "Boom" or "Wow" effect on the readers. The depiction of cruelty is quite nice but the others are very much, well, nothing. I feel like the author had no experience reading other fantasy novels that he had no clue what was in it.
