Upon entering the Naruto universe, he becomes the cousin of Konoha's supporting character, Hayate Gekkō. Upon activating the Role-Playing System, Gekkō Tenya's prowess grows with each level he achieves. Initially, he unlocks the prodigious swordsman Tachibana Ukyo.
As a result, the ninja realm gains a swordsman so fearsome that rivals even Konoha's renowned White Fang. Mifune exclaims, "Tenya-kun is the most formidable swordsman I've ever laid eyes on!" The Raikage concurs, "His sword speed surpasses even my Lightning Release!" Obito adds, "Wow, this is the first time I've witnessed a swordsman capable of slicing through space!"
Gekkō Tenya confidently declares, "My blade never misses its mark. Care to test it?"
