When a young trading card game player dies before his time, the goddess Skadi reincarnates him. He is promptly reborn as Renjie, an apprentice Card Summoner on the planet Vale. In this realm, magic is real and giant monsters thunder across the land. Card Summoners are tasked with capturing the dangerous beasts. Once caught, these magical creatures are sealed within mystical cards. Afterward, the captured monster can be conjured and will obey whatever commands received from its new master.
