In the story, Vanadine, a half-Dark Elf hybrid, was expelled from Elaris following a tragic incident where he killed a high council member. After spending 40 solitary years on Earth, he encounters a situation where he bravely rescues a woman named Carine from attempted rape.
Despite his own need for secrecy and warnings about his dangerous nature, Vanadine can't shake the thought of Carine from his mind. To distract himself, he keeps an eye on her from afar, ensuring her safety without getting too close.
Unbeknownst to him, Carine too finds herself thinking about Vanadine, longing for the possibility of their connection intensifying.
