Samantha Jones, having spent most of her life in a quaint village she longs to leave behind, has worked tirelessly to achieve her dream of attending Oxford University. This marks a fresh start where she can distance herself from the village's gossip and reunite with her cherished friend Emily Black, whom she hasn't seen in five years. Both Samantha and Emily are eager to leave their pasts behind and embrace a more carefree lifestyle, filled with boys, parties, and the excitement of college life. Little did Samantha expect to cross paths with Jacob Baker, once again, at her dream school. Jacob, who left the village five years ago, holds a bittersweet memory for her – he broke her heart during her darkest days, altering both their lives forever. Now, Jacob is unrecognizable from the affectionate boy he once was – transformed into a confident but troubled flirt, notorious for his party skills. The reunion with Samantha creates tension for both of them, bringing back old wounds and emotions. **Warning:** This text contains explicit and mature content, as well as potentially traumatic scenes. wish fulfillment novel delivered poorly, author must be an ******* with no sense of pacing, story is all over the place with a bland mc, stories like this are usually fun to read if written properly but this novel is simple a masterful work of garbage not even worth reading to pass the time

So, let's be real here. This is one of the most generic, paint-by-numbers stories I've seen, even on this site. MC is a handsome, cool, casually pretentious, arrogant, unreasonable, OP dude? Check. He has a fatty friend? Check. Is in conflict with a rich silk pants type who has a grudge against him for a dumb reason? Check. Is supported by a beautiful and capable woman who also has a high status? Check. Not only is it generic, it's poorly executed as well. The setting is somewhat interesting, I guess, with the reincarnation tower and all, but that's about all that can be said for it.Massive derec. Can't believe something like this was picked.

Read until chapter 39.Started with a good premisse, but then it became your usual cultivation novel, but worse because there seems to be no real challenge.Ratings explanations:Bad translation, sometimes confusing.Stability, not enough samples to review.Story. It started ok, a few odd points but mostly ok. Then the quality dropped A LOT, out of nowhere.Character design: MC makes no sense, acts in contradictory ways sometimes. Some of the other characters are ok, some are badly written. World background: almost nothing established so far, the little that was exposed isn’t really good.Overall I wouldn’t recommend it.

I really liked this book. Shame it didn’t get picked. The mc is pretty funny trying to find a reason to do certain things like taking someone’s money.

its like those chinese webnovels 'the world online' and 'the lords empire' well without the blatant racism. characters could have been more descriptive for greater immersion along with better world building. ngl kind of boring the mc doesnt really do anything he just delegates. great for wasting time just as i did ?
