I don't think the author has any knowledge of werewolves. How could the ALFA KING, who is over 1000 years old not know about heat? Did his last mate not have it? For a old wolf, Damon is unwise an quick to anger. How is he living so long? He is not a lycan. Where is his pack and Beta?
