I hope this story continues some daypeople complain about a simple ntr being that it happens in realitythere are much worse stories in this respectwhen the protagonist takes his journey to power he must step on the corpse of his enemies to conquer him but it is not always just that ...he must also deal with the loss of loved ones to overcome terrible emotional traumas in order to not only gain his power but also the mental stability necessary to wield itfor it is the weaknesses that shape its character and firm its conviction to move forward, not success.if this story embodies all of this correctly it is a great novel.

why does he bring the weak girls with him

The progression is good. Increasing the power too suddenly would give a sense of fabrication. I just hope that there could be more stories with female counterparts with the same power levels as this.

So far so good. I'm excited to see where they go with this story. I'm hoping it's not another "You're actually in another world" plot, and that it focuses on the interactions between the characters without getting romantic.

Picking up this book is easily one of the best decisions that I've made this year. All the characters are detailed and complex, and even though I like Wren best (can never resist the bad boy types), it's safe to say that I love them very, very much. Although set in a world with fantasy and magic, all the characters' struggles and conflicts are so very real. This is a story written with so much soul and love, and a choice you certainly won't regret.
