In the bustling halls of the Crescent Blood Peak Pack, I, Jewel Stuart, declared my defiance as the future Alpha's choice, turning down Drew Kizmet's proposal for mating and leadership succession. With a smug grin, he acknowledged my rejection, and I met his gaze, stating, "Very well, Drew. I, Jewel Stuart, accept your decision. May I leave for Chemistry class now?" As I walked away, I could feel both Drew's and the curious gazes of my peers piercing through me. My best friend, Jade, sensing my emotional burden, reached out with concern. "Jewel, did the rejection hurt? Are you alright?" I reassured her, "Yes, Jade, I'll be fine. Just need some time to recover. Thank you for understanding." Being the first daughter of Laura and Jaxon Stuart, two accomplished warriors from the 20th generation, I'd grown up tough and resilient, often seen as a tomboy. However, our family's love for me was unwavering. Meanwhile, Drew Kizmet, the heir apparent to the Alpha position, came from a lineage of fair and strong leaders, Alpha Dustin and Luna Kristen Kizmet. They planned to step aside once Drew found his mate and embarked on their own adventures. Let's see how the unfolding events will shape the lives of Jewel and Drew in the complex tapestry of their pack's dynamics.

Hey, to everyone who wants to have  a great love and adventure, you need to read "Mystic Wolf." I couldn't  put it down.

Chapter One starts with one giant, somewhat incoherent, run-on sentence. That tells you everything you need to know about the rest of the book. Maybe I'll come back and try to read it again if it gets some series editing, but it would be crazy to pay money for this.

Do not waste your time until the author fixes the book.  There are chunks of dialogue missing and makes it almost impossible to read at times.  The story COULD be good if they fix it.  Grammar can be a challenge at times, mixing he and she in the same sentence is also an issue that needs fixed!

There are huge chunks of conversations missing from this version of the book.  Portions that are important to understand what is going on in the story.  I gave up trying to read this.
