Bianca Mattos, a young archaeology enthusiast, had never ventured beyond Brazil until she embarked on a journey to Qatar, in the United Arab Emirates, to visit her sister Brenda. Upon arrival, an unfortunate series of events led to Bianca being mistakenly kidnapped by a leftist group, led by King Nahan Zayn Asi Tarif, the ruler of a neighboring nation known as the Caliphate. King Nahan, infamous for being the Executioner of Bahrain, had once experienced the depths of grief when his beloved wife and daughter were tragically killed in a terrorist attack masterminded by their enemies in Qatar. As a result of this loss, he had become numb to emotions, using them as fuel for his vengeance. His plan was to seize a member of the Qatari royal family, but fate had other intentions. Now, the gentle Bianca found herself in the clutches of this enigmatic ruler, whose captive she would become, shaking the foundations of his kingdom and stirring emotions within his heart that he had long thought buried.
