Before The Lost after the The Fall, this story could be lore, could be law, could just be the acknowledgement of the passage of time between one story told and another. Just because I fail to tell you about the little details that happened in our characters' daily lives it doesn't mean they stop growing.
This is a story of the lives of our heros/villans as they happen outside our usual sight. When we stop being voyeurs in these strange people's lives between the last book and the next this is what happened, just a summary.
