Ikoma Shizue has been a hikikomori for a year now after a horrible incident. She came to despise men and did not trust them for a whole year. Everyone gave up and she built a wall around her and did not leave it. This was broken by the effort of a boy named Takayama Yosai.
Visiting her daily and trying to coax her out of her confinement, she finally opens up to him after his year long effort. However, all his efforts became wasted when an arsonist attacks Shizue's home and kills both of them.
Seeing how their love story ended in a tragedy, the goddess of love in another world brings them back to become heroes.
This is the story of their journey to save the world.
