On the eve of the 21st century a giant meteor was set to collide with earth and obliterate all of humanity. For reasons unknown, the meteor was redirected and the cataclysm avoided. However, in the wake of this twist of fortune, mysterious powers emerged among humans, animals and plants, giving a special few supernatural abilities. That day was known as Powerfall. And those who received gifts were called Power Wielders. And, among the most powerful of all the wielders was a teenage boy named Aidan. What set him apart from the rest, was the fact that he truly believed… that he was powerless.
