Kai Tezuya, a loner of the class, picked up an old gaming system from his basement. It used to belong to his grandfather. Inside contains a copy of Monster Hunter, a forgotten game that was popular over 60 years ago. Kai loves Monster Hunter. He feels that life around him is too boring and wants to experience the excitement of hunting colossal monsters. Little did he know his class will get transported to another world, a Monster Hunter universe!
A.N.: MH is my favorite game. This fiction does contain elements from the game (mostly monsters, weapons, and game mechanics). However, I try to make the story new and enjoyable with some badass action scenes.
