Vincent, with an entirely serious expression, said, "I want you to marry me尽快可能,Aira." Aira stared at him, taken aback during their dinner together. "In-wait, what?" she stammered. "It's a straightforward business arrangement, Aira," Vincent explained, maintaining a crisp demeanor. "I'll ensure your family doesn't face financial ruin, and in return, I'd like you to marry me before my inheritance rights expire at thirty." His words left her speechless as he added, "So, let's put it this way: you don't need to fret. Your sole responsibility is to become mine. I'll handle the rest." Suddenly, her heart raced as she felt his warm breath near her ear. Originally, Aira thought tonight would be the pinnacle of her success - her hard work acknowledged, a significant contract within reach, and a fiancé who seemingly cherished her. But everything changed in an instant. In the very room where she was set to seal her deal, she discovered Vincent, her fiancé, betraying her. To top it off, her family's financial future hung by a thread, forcing her to consider marrying Vincent Valory – The Shark – as their last resort.

Author dropped.

He run run out of Florida gags (his words not mine)
Also apparently people got offended and he got annoyed.

Anyways, this author already had history of dropping novels he's bored of, it was to be expected that this one would be as well.

I couldn't agree more. That nina something really is a shitty character which overshadowed the MC which is why I dropped this years ago. . . and I hate the "love" stuff between them. The story had a big potential but was dragged by the side characters' "development" much like how I dropped the novel The Villain Wants to Live due to female characters. The MC also is always contradicting his goal in life, making illogical choices.

Good story worth reading

Great book. My big complaint is that the last chapter was too short, although the story had a clear ending.

this book is amazing, i love how strong the characters are and how often the author uses the silent gestures instead of dialogues
