In my humble opinion, this novel is a very poorly written shonen. For the shonen part, its the nakamas, the love, the loyal good attitude, on a neverending journey with petty enemies. Now for the poorly written part, the list is quite long.Of all the xianxia/xuahuan novels I have read, I have never seen as-many brain-dead characters as in here.Enemies ALL have the same mentality, petty af, short-sighted, if they find out the MC is stronger, they will either run and lie to get stronger guys to come, or they will still attack the MC and die. NO EXCEPTIONS.MC kills almost everyone, and it's not even enjoyable or remotely suspenseful.Another infuriating thing is the bystanders. They are all incredibly stupid as well. Whether they can"t see the level of the fighters, or can suddenly magically see it. They will ALWAYS be wrong. Not even once will you see a bystander state that some guy will win and be right. This absolutely RUINS the narration. You can also add the insufferable summaries every few chapters. the author seems to have a lot of trouble filling the word quotas for his chapters, so he will resume either the whole arc or the whole novel. After a few hundred chapters, this takes 3/4 paragraphs with the same content. This novel is also poor story-wise. There are a few themes that cycle again and again. After a hundred chapters you will have read all the novel's plot. Like a neverending cycle, you'll read about a berated MC, killing organizations, fighting for his life and eventually winning. Tournaments, Rankings, Super strong guys that should one-shot the MC losing. Weak guys seeing that but still going after MC, cycling through the whole killing organizations, tournament, rankings. and again, and again, and again. 3 reasons to kill the MC, he's obviously weak, his GF is too pretty, revenge. The story is full of flags. Depending on the introduction "x doted on by y
