Good morning, sir," she greeted with a self-satisfied smirk, casting a glance at Zachary Villarreal, her former boyfriend, who stood before the class. After spending two years away in America to heal for her family's sake, Atasha had returned to the Philippines. The news of her half-sister's impending wedding struck a nerve, and she couldn't bear the thought of those responsible for her suffering – and that of her unborn child – finding happiness. In her mind, she vowed, "Let Professor, you shall witness my vengeance, beg if you must."

Second time I’m reading this book, still couldn’t drop it till I finished the entire thing. Such a beautiful read.

The themes it has has all already been mostly done by others but none have quite executed all these aspects in such a well done fashion. The only thing it lacks is a special aspect, which is why I can only put it on the lower tier of peak fiction.

But don't get me wrong, it's peak fiction. Just not the powerhouse mid-high tier peak fiction is.

It's read you won't regret tho. It'll leave you laughing and crying and angry and all sorts of emotions. For now, I'm going to find me a romance novel to read. I need something wholesome after reading this.
