Imagine if someone had shown Ivy a glimpse of her life's path just a day before her planned wedding, if they'd told her to use the term 'mine' casually to the first Greek god she encountered at a nightclub, and then impulsively engage in a one-night stand with that incredibly wealthy deity. Perhaps she would've accepted her predetermined future, stayed home, and gone through with her arranged marriage to settle her father's debts.
