Anatole France Thibault once said, "To know is nothing; imagination holds all the power." Francis King, colloquially known as the Death lord of Narlands, was a figure whose actions spoke volumes louder than words. Renowned for his无情统治, King Francis ruled Narlands with an iron fist, seemingly uncaring about the well-being of others.
Into this world stepped Ella Fitzgerald, a young, enchanting woman seeking a fresh start. Driven by her dreams and a desire to provide for herself, she journeyed to Narlands to work and earn a living. Despite her initial aspirations for something grander, being a maid was the last thing on her list. Yet, the financial opportunities in Narlands held a mysterious allure that piqued her interest.
Unbeknownst to Ella, fate had other plans. When their paths crossed, danger lurked around every corner, and with it, unexpected moments of tenderness. As fate would have it, their encounter led to a whirlwind of emotions, challenging her carefully laid plans and igniting a fire within her heart.
it's completed but still not complete... it's like the story was hanging in a lot of questions... the story is good but I don't like the ending... too many questions in my head... like what happened in the end? I hope there'll be a next book for this...
Girl, you are bursting my head. Death Lord oo, Ella will not kill me. I cannot wait for him to be hopelessly in love so I can give him a cute pet name.
