((Romance, Sci-fi, Fantasy, Action, Mystery, Comedy genres)) Book Two of the Falconer Triology

Lykalos's eyes widened. He gripped the sides of his chair and leaned forward, "You mean to say that you'd successfully complete a project SYS has not even come close to for over twenty years in just three months?!"

"I said it, didn't I?" Rain hissed.

"It's a deal, then," Lykalos said, standing up and lifting a hand for Rain to shake.

Rain, too, rose, but his hands were shaking so much that he could barely lift them. He'd just as good as promised to help zombies crush the human race.

Rain finds himself in a fix when after surviving hell on another planet, he brings back teens and kids with superpowers. With one of them continuously suffering from fright attacks on top of the fact that it is just about impossible to fit in with the average human when just about the only thing you've known your whole life was to survive no matter what it takes, Rain signs himself up at an organization of some sort to create the thing he's always wanted to destroy.

A tragic tale of love, trust, fear, and suspicion.

Just a little side note/warning: there will be gory scenes. There will be heart-wrenching or tear-inducing scenes as well. And be warned! Plots are complicated, the whole book is very long, there may be quite a bit of science-related conversations, and probably needs a bit of reading-through-the-lines knowledge when it comes to Rain... Oh, and there are zero matu.
