Continuing the story from "Set Me Free," we hope readers will enjoy this book as much as the first one. In a dimly lit room, a deep male voice asks, "What is your name?" Daniel, bound to a white medical bed, struggles with limited visibility. Perspiration beads on his forehead due to the sweltering heat. His blurred gaze searches desperately for the one constant in his life, Isabelle – the reason he endures the pain, longing for their reunion outside. The man, growing impatient, raises electrodes near Daniel's temples, administering a jolt. Daniel convulses, desperately trying to free himself, but to no avail. The man torturously presses the electrodes against his temples, eroding Daniel's memories of Isabelle. Unbeknownst to the interrogator, Isabelle's image fuels Daniel's will to survive. "Do you know her?" he asks, presenting a picture of Isabelle. "Yes, she's my Isabelle," Daniel replies, a faint smile crossing his lips as his eyes close.
