Leda, a young Omega, exists within the pages of her own story, skillfully concealing her true nature from the world. Omegas, despite their extraordinary qualities, are tragically undervalued and denied basic rights, often reduced to objects or slaves by powerful Alphas who hold sway over society, even governing it.
Life in the slums was harsh, but to endure, Leda adopted a facade as a Beta when she secured a job at Ceres House, an establishment known for its unfortunate line of work. During a fateful encounter with Brumeh, an Alpha and a formidable cartel leader, he initially believed her to be a Beta during their meeting at the same place. The question remains: what will happen when Brumeh uncovers Leda's hidden truth?
A good easy read. I just wish it not expensive to read. Well not as expensive as other books I’m reading. But still the amount of coins I spent on this book I can buy A LOOOOOOT of books already.
