Four years have passed since Selene's heartbreak when she was rejected by Luna. Returning to the renowned Ironclaw pack, Selene confidently reclaims her position as a captivating, wealthy, and devious force, determined to make a splash. Despite claiming to be back solely for her job, Selene's true motivation lies beneath – a burning desire to exact revenge on those who wronged her and hurt her pride. Deep within her soul, the storm of resentment fuels her actions, turning every encounter with Alpha Ares into a test of wills. As they lock eyes, their glares intensify, and memories of their past passion linger, Selene begins to realize that the boundary between love and hate is becoming increasingly blurred. But this shift is precisely what Ares has been strategizing for. He yearns desperately to win Selene back, even if it means sacrificing everything he holds dear – his pack, his family, and a control he once took for granted. The tides of emotion threaten to overturn his carefully crafted plans, leaving both of them entangled in a web of desire and retribution.

I am not saying it`s bad or has become bad.
No trace of hate either.
I am saying it became disappointing.
I read it till the end, as the world built, the idea and the characters were good.

The disappointing part for me was the change in the flow of most character developments that had been cultivated very well up to a certain point.

Reinhart lost his maturity and ability to calculate, strategise and just be smart in many situations.
While all the female main characters actually grew and became adults in all senses, Reinhart in some ways even became childish.
The development of the relationships just vanished.
Reinhart's interactions with his close ones in 95% of the situations became stone-cold work chats and dialogues.
The depth and complexity of all those relationships diminished greatly for me.

Basically, that`s my feedback. Your is different, which is also good, as people can assess the story before diving into it from different POVs)

One step better than that...but yeah. Also the sequel is incomplete so it's a turn off for me
