Meh. Not bad, not particularly good either. It's the exact same situation, repeated infinitely (like other cultivation novels), but with significantly less payoff, fighting or training. Time skips happen every few chapters, the effects of age often seem to not exist, people are "on the brink of death" for years. The MC is an empty shell of a human and there wasn't a single "fight" that he needed to use more than what feels like 1% of his power. Calling them fights would be an overstatement.
