A Briny Beginning

The author trie to make you believe he's original but there are so many stupid thing we see over and over and over that it just left you numb and like "ho, did I really dare to spend 1 stone on this?!".So yeah great disappointment, I'm like 15 chapter after Ellia possession and the author was like "don't worry, it's not like those ****ty novel, i'll be making thing different" but the novel is still like all the other, maybe the world background is less impressive.If you like Cultivation novel you can read it if you have time to lose, if you're new, well go for better cultivation novel if you're neither of those 2 case then just don't read it.One of the biggest disappointment since 2019

i love this story, absolutely amazing in my opinion. unfortunately, i don't know what's happening, I don't know if it's dropped/hiatus/completed. I love sports+system novels so I got attracted to this, especially since it's basketball. Only thing that I don't really like but don't mind too much, is samantha, at first I didn't find her annoying like every1 else practically did, but eventually i understood how they felt and i started disliking her as well. In terms of girls I definitely prefer Jasmine, shania (maybe-iffy), etc.

Book starts great but the word choices later on leave me disappointed. Like at the start I would give it a straight 5. Sadly later the writing changes as if the author was swapped from an adult to a teenager. It constantly is “this dude”, “that dude” as if a teenager wrote it. I think the word ”dude” is the most used word in this novel and it gets old very fast. Then you have people say things like “how did you know our mighty and scary name”.  Or ”this is a really scary dude”.

Save yourself the trouble. It's not worth your time. Bad writing that needs serious editing. Also people you shouldn't just give out five stars without knowing what your rating. When in doubt but feeling positive give four stars otherwise give 3 and update your review when you can. This book has more stars than it deserves cause of all those bloat reviews.

It's the novel with the best world-building that I've found on this app. It has good humour, not cringe s***, and you have a good time even if you only read a chapter. The author seems to read most of the comments and listens to reader's questions and doubts. Not only this is an 10/10 novel, but it also has a 10/10 author.

nice
