In a world consumed by eternal twilight, humanity wakes to a chilling proclamation from the Dread Sovereign: the ruler of life and death. The Abyssal Arbiter System is now active, and every individual receives 1 Abyss Coin, the currency of survival and power. All except for one—Jian Yu, who receives a staggering 1 Trillion Abyss Coins, a gift (or curse) granted by the Dread Sovereign for unknown reasons. This immense wealth offers Jian the opportunity to shape his fate—but it also places a target on his back.

With only a single Abyss Coin to their name, the rest of humanity must struggle, trade, and survive. Meanwhile, Jian Yu navigates the depths of the Abyssal Arbiter System, using his incredible wealth and power to take on increasingly perilous trials, unlock forbidden abilities, and challenge the horrors that now roam the Earth.

As apocalyptic trials descend and nightmares manifest, humanity is thrust into a macabre game. The Abyss Coins can be earned through blood, ingenuity, and survival but spent just as easily on desperate gambles and fleeting security. The line between savior and predator blurs, and only the cunning and the strong can endure this twisted gamble for survival.

I was intrigued by the premise, but, eh, delivery was kinda weak. It's clear that the author isn't too well versed in English at least in the early chapters. Hopefully writing this helped them get better. The flow is actually pretty good, but the 'conversational' tone the... narrator? takes is mildly annoying. It feels like it's trying to be funny/clever too hard, but ends up awkward. The characters feel a bit artificial, as if they are defined by a trope or cliche that is stuck to their forehead. I'm not saying that you won't find people like them in reality, but they feel like those homeschooled kids that can't read the mood. All in all, it's obvious that it's a beginner work and if you're fine with that then the premise shows a lot of promise. If there's ever a rewritten version of this that cleans things up, I'll give it another shot.
