A small courtyard built by Gu Shiyi's father in a sinkhole, taking half a year to construct. It has four tiny rooms (kitchen, bedroom, storage room, and latrine/washroom), stone-paved floors, a thatched firewood shed, and a sturdy wooden gate. The house and walls were built with bricks and tiles fired by her father.
