A mountain east of the imperial city where Qingning Temple is located. Its name refers to morning light, not evening glow. Legend says a wandering monk saw dawn break through the clouds there, filling the mountain with radiant light. It is not very high, and the carriage ride from the east gate takes about half an hour.
