A colossal three-story lantern mountain shaped like a giant turtle, built at great expense by the Emperor. The base featured the Eight Immortals, the middle had statues of gods and Buddhas, and the top symbolized Penglai. It collapsed during the Lantern Festival, causing terrible casualties.
