A pond located beneath a rockery in the Pei Residence garden. It is described as very shallow and unable to drown anyone. This is where Sang Wu was pushed by Pei Ba Niang and fell into the water, becoming soaked and wretched. A hexagonal stone pavilion sits by its water's edge, half-hidden by pine wisteria and apricot blossoms.
