The academy is described as excelling in both talent and faculty, with the abbot of Qingfeng Temple serving as an honorary lecturer. Tuition is affordable at only 500 per year. It is one of only three Daoist academies in the country and is associated with the Mystic Sect and its Talismanic Arts.
