Over the years of reading I\'ve developed a lot of pet peeves in regards to Chinese, Korean, and Japanese novels. From Japanese comedy, Japanese character archetypes, never-ending arrogant young masters, to harems in general; I\'ve grown completely sick of many things. These are the ones that have managed to avoid (or managed to use well) the large amount of things I\'ve grown to despise and are what I believe are among the best. They may not remain good for the whole novel but what matters is that I enjoyed them immensely for any portion of the story. They are in no particular order.

Basically what the title says. I absolutely detest Harems but I\'ll still keep Pseudo Harems here (MC isn\'t married to a lot of chicks but there\'s plenty who like and spend time around him anyway). I feel having Harems decreases the overall quality and its hard to talk about true love while the MCs banging 100+ women on the regular (which Chinese authors like to write about for some reason). I have no problem with Romance, although I do feel Webnovel authors aren\'t really cut out to write about it.

Some other things I\'ll exclude are ultra-nationalism (china numba 1!), Novels without Harems but the MC still plays around with/f*cks a lot of women

There\'s no real restrictions on whether it\'s serious or comedy, although comedy generally has more permavirg*n!MCs
